for lower berth allotment in trains. This facility, which was earlier available mainly to senior citizens, has now been extended to women passengers as part of passenger comfort measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <strong>Indian Railways<\/strong>, women opting for lower berths at the time of booking will be allotted the same, subject to availability.
