கடந்த 6 மாதங்களாக கட்சியின் முடிவுகளுக்கு எதிராக செயல்பட்டதாக செங்கோட்டையன் மீது அதிமுக நிர்வாகம் குற்றம் சாட்டியுள்ளது. இதையடுத்து, அவருக்கு கட்சிசார்ந்த பொறுப்புகளில் இருந்து நீக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டதாக பொதுச் செயலாளர் எடப்பாடி கே. பழனிசாமி அறிவித்துள்ளார்.
அவர் கூறியதாவது, “செங்கோட்டையன் குறித்து வெளியான செய்திகள் அனைத்தும் உண்மையே. கட்சியின் ஒற்றுமை மற்றும் ஒழுக்கத்தை மீறிய செயல்களில் ஈடுபட்டதால் நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டது. இது ஒருவரை குறிவைப்பதற்கல்ல, கட்சியின் நலனுக்காக மட்டுமே” என்றார்.
AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami announced that senior leader Sengottaiyan has been removed from his party responsibilities for acting against party decisions over the past six months.
EPS clarified that the move was made to protect the party’s unity and discipline, not to target any individual. “All decisions are taken in the interest of the AIADMK’s future. No one is above the organization,” he stated during a press briefing in Chennai.
