சமத்துவ சிந்தனைகளுக்கு மரியாதை – டிசம்பர் 6 நினைவு தினம் | Tribute to ideals of equality on December 6
2025 டிசம்பர் 6 அன்று, சட்டமேதை B. R. Ambedkar நினைவு தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு, அதிமுக பொதுச் செயலாளர் Edappadi K. Palaniswami புகழாரம் சூட்டினார். சமூகத்தில் சமத்துவத்தை கட்டியெழுப்பிய சிந்தனையாளர் அம்பேத்கர் என அவர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.
சமத்துவத்தை சட்டங்களிலும் மட்டுமல்ல, மக்களின் மனதிலும் நிலைநாட்ட வேண்டும் என்ற அம்பேத்கரின் கருத்துகள் இன்றும் பொருத்தமானவை என்று அவர் கூறினார். ஒடுக்கப்பட்ட மக்களின் உரிமைகள், சமூக நீதி, கல்வி முன்னேற்றம் ஆகியவற்றில் அம்பேத்கர் செய்த பங்களிப்புகள் மறக்க முடியாதவை என தெரிவித்தார்.
அம்பேத்கரின் கொள்கைகள் இன்றைய தலைமுறைக்கு வழிகாட்டியாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்றும், அவரது சிந்தனைகளை அனைவரும் பின்பற்ற வேண்டும் என்றும் அதிமுக பொதுச் செயலாளர் வலியுறுத்தினார். நினைவு தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு தமிழகம் முழுவதும் பல இடங்களில் மரியாதை நிகழ்ச்சிகள் நடைபெற்றன.
On December 6, 2025, on the death anniversary of B. R. Ambedkar, AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami paid rich tributes to the great leader. He described Ambedkar as a visionary who laid a strong foundation for equality and social justice in Indian society.
Palaniswami said Ambedkar believed that equality should exist not only in laws but also in people’s minds. He highlighted Ambedkar’s historic contributions toward the rights of marginalised communities, social reform and educational empowerment.
He added that Ambedkar’s principles continue to remain relevant and should guide future generations. Tribute events were held across Tamil Nadu to honour the legacy of the architect of the Indian Constitution.
