திருச்சியில் ரயில் நிலையத்தில் அதிரடி நடவடிக்கை | Swift operation at Tiruchirappalli railway station
2025 டிசம்பர் 6 அன்று, திருச்சி ரயில் நிலையத்தில் நடத்தப்பட்ட சோதனையில் ரூ.18 லட்சம் மதிப்பிலான 36 கிலோ கஞ்சா பறிமுதல் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. நான்கு பைகளில் மறைத்து வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த இந்த கஞ்சாவை ரயில்வே பாதுகாப்புப் படை (RPF) கண்டுபிடித்தது. சந்தேகத்தின் பேரில் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட சோதனையில் போதைப்பொருள் கைப்பற்றப்பட்டது.
விசாரணையில், இந்த கஞ்சா ஆந்திர மாநிலத்தில் இருந்து தமிழ்நாட்டிற்கு கடத்தப்பட்டதாக தெரிய வந்துள்ளது. சம்பவம் தொடர்பாக வழக்குப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டு, கடத்தல் வலையமைப்பில் தொடர்புடைய நபர்களை கண்டறியும் பணியில் அதிகாரிகள் தீவிரமாக ஈடுபட்டு வருகின்றனர்.
On December 6, 2025, railway security personnel seized 36 kg of ganja worth approximately ₹18 lakh during an inspection at Tiruchirappalli Junction. The contraband was concealed inside four bags and was detected during a routine check by the Railway Protection Force.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the ganja was smuggled from Andhra Pradesh into Tamil Nadu. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to identify those involved in the drug trafficking network.
