சென்னையில் காய்கறி விலைகள் குறைந்தது | Vegetable prices ease after weeks of high rates due to improved supply
சென்னையில் கடந்த வாரம் கனமழையால் காய்கறி விலைகள் அதிகரித்திருந்தன. ஆனால், இந்த வாரம் வானிலை சீராகி சப்ளை அதிகரித்துள்ளதால், முக்கிய சந்தைகளில் விலை குறைந்து பொதுமக்கள் நிம்மதி அடைந்துள்ளனர்.
கோயம்பேடு சந்தையில் தக்காளி கிலோ ரூ. 40-ல் இருந்து ரூ. 35-ஆகவும், பீன்ஸ் ரூ. 70-ல் இருந்து ரூ. 60-ஆகவும், மிளகாய் ரூ. 40-ல் இருந்து ரூ. 30-ஆகவும் விலை குறைந்துள்ளது. இதேபோல் வெண்டைக்காய், கத்திரிக்காய் மற்றும் புடலங்காய் விலைகளிலும் ரூ. 5 முதல் ரூ. 10 வரை குறைவு பதிவாகியுள்ளது.
After weeks of price hikes caused by heavy rains, vegetable rates in Chennai have started to decline. Improved weather conditions and steady arrivals from nearby districts have led to a drop in prices across major markets like Koyambedu.
Tomatoes now sell for ₹35 per kg (down from ₹40), beans at ₹60 (down from ₹70), and green chilies at ₹30 (down from ₹40). Retailers expect prices to remain stable if supply continues uninterrupted, bringing relief to households across the city.
