சபரிமலை தங்கப் பூசை திருட்டு வழக்கில் போலீஸ் நடவடிக்கை | Police arrest another accused in temple gold theft investigation
சபரிமலை ஐயப்பன் கோயிலில் நடைபெற்ற தங்கப் பூசை சம்பவத்தில் காணாமல் போன விலைமதிப்புள்ள சிலைகள் மற்றும் அலங்கார பொருட்கள் தொடர்பாக போலீசார் தீவிர விசாரணை நடத்தி வருகின்றனர். இதன் தொடர்பாக மூன்றாவது நபர் சதீஷ்குமாரை போலீசார் கைது செய்துள்ளனர்.
2019ஆம் ஆண்டு நடைபெற்ற தங்கப் பூசை பணிகளில் ஏற்பட்ட முறைகேடு காரணமாக, “செப்பு தகடுகள்” எனும் பொருட்களின் பாவனைக்கு உட்பட்ட தங்கப் பொருட்கள் காணாமல் போனதாகக் கூறப்படுகிறது. இதனால், பல ஆண்டுகளாக நிலுவையில் இருந்த வழக்கு மீண்டும் தீவிரப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.
Police have arrested a third person in connection with the 2019 Sabarimala temple gold theft case involving the loss of gold-plated panels used during the temple’s sacred ornamentation.
Investigations revealed irregularities in the handling of temple assets, leading to renewed scrutiny of those involved in temple administration at the time. Authorities confirmed that further arrests are likely as the probe continues under the supervision of the Devaswom Vigilance team.
