அந்த பகுதியில் இரவு நேரத்தில் பயணித்த டெம்போ டிராவலர் வாகனம் கட்டுப்பாட்டை இழந்து லாரியுடன் மோதியதில் இந்த பெரும் விபத்து ஏற்பட்டது. சம்பவ இடத்திலேயே பலர் உயிரிழந்ததாகவும், மேலும் 3 பேர் படுகாயமடைந்து அருகிலுள்ள அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் சிகிச்சை பெற்று வருவதாகவும் அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.
விபத்தின் தீவிரத்தால் வாகனம் பெருமளவில் சேதமடைந்தது. காவல்துறை உடனடியாக சம்பவ இடத்துக்கு சென்று மீட்பு நடவடிக்கைகளை மேற்கொண்டது. ஆரம்ப கட்ட விசாரணையில் அதிக வேகமே விபத்துக்கான காரணம் என கூறப்படுகிறது.
The tragic collision occurred late at night when a tempo traveler lost control and crashed into a truck near Jodhpur. Police confirmed that 18 people died on the spot, while three others sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a nearby government hospital for treatment.
Authorities reported that the vehicle was completely mangled due to the impact. Preliminary investigations suggest that overspeeding might have caused the accident. Road safety officials have urged drivers to exercise caution, especially during long-distance night travel.
