தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டம் தோட்டப்பகுதியில் வேலை முடித்து வீடு திரும்பிய பெண்ணை வழிமறித்த இருவர் பாலியல் தொந்தரவு செய்ததாக புகார் அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதையடுத்து போலீசார் வழக்குப்பதிவு செய்து விசாரணை நடத்தி வருகின்றனர்.
சமீபத்தில் இத்தகைய பாலியல் தொந்தரவுகள் அதிகரித்து வருவதாகவும், பாதுகாப்பு நடவடிக்கைகளை வலுப்படுத்த வேண்டுமெனவும் பொதுமக்கள் கோரிக்கை விடுத்துள்ளனர்.
