விருதுநகர் மாவட்டம் ஸ்ரீவில்லிபுத்தூர் அருகே சாலையில் சென்ற பேருந்து, எதிரே வந்த ஆட்டோ மீது மோதியதில் ஆட்டோ ஓட்டுநர் சம்பவ இடத்திலேயே பலியானார்.
அதே ஆட்டோவில் பயணம் செய்த மூன்று பயணிகள் பலத்த காயமடைந்து அருகிலுள்ள மருத்துவமனைக்கு அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர். சம்பவ இடத்துக்கு விருதுநகர் போலீசார் விரைந்து சென்று விசாரணை நடத்தி வருகின்றனர்.
அதிவேகமாக வந்த பேருந்தே விபத்துக்கு காரணம் என கூறப்படுகிறது. பேருந்து ஓட்டுநரிடம் போலீசார் விசாரணை நடத்தி வருகின்றனர்.
