இந்தியாவின் சமூக சேவை நிறுவனம் ‘எஜுகேட் கேர்ள்ஸ்’ 2024 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான ரமோன் மக்சேசே விருது வென்று சாதனை படைத்துள்ளது. ராஜஸ்தான் உள்ளிட்ட 30 மாவட்டங்களில் பெண் குழந்தைகளுக்கான கல்வி திட்டங்களை மேற்கொண்டு வருகிறது.
இந்த அமைப்பு இதுவரை 55 ஆயிரம் தன்னார்வலர்களின் உதவியுடன் 24 லட்சம் குழந்தைகளை பள்ளிக்கு திரும்பச் செய்து கல்வி மேம்பாட்டில் முன்னேற்றம் கண்டுள்ளது.
India’s social organization Educate Girls has been awarded the 2024 Ramon Magsaysay Award for its outstanding efforts in empowering girls through education.
Operating in over 30 districts across Rajasthan, the NGO has helped over 2.4 million girls return to school, with the support of 55,000 volunteers. The award recognizes its remarkable role in advancing education and gender equality.
