சென்னையில் 22 கேரட் தங்கத்தின் விலை ஒரு கிராமுக்கு ரூ.180 உயர்ந்து ரூ.11,480 ஆக விற்பனை செய்யப்படுகிறது. இதன் மூலம் ஒரு சவரன் தங்கத்தின் விலை ரூ.880 உயர்ந்து ரூ.91,840 ஆகியுள்ளது. இதேபோல், வெள்ளி விலை கிலோக்கு ரூ.560 அதிகரித்துள்ளது.
தங்க விலை கடந்த சில வாரங்களாக சரிவும் உயர்வும் மாறி மாறி பதிவாகி வருகிறது. பன்னாட்டு சந்தையில் டாலர் மதிப்பு மற்றும் தங்கத்தின் தேவை அதிகரித்ததுதான் இதற்குக் காரணமாக கூறப்படுகிறது.
Gold prices in Chennai have surged again, with 22-carat gold now priced at ₹11,480 per gram — an increase of ₹180. The price of one sovereign has risen by ₹880, reaching ₹91,840. Silver rates have also climbed by ₹560 per kilogram.
