நீலகிரி மாவட்டம் கூடலூர் அருகே அமைந்துள்ள டென்னிஸ் விளையாட்டு கூடத்தின் தரை மற்றும் வசதிகள் மிகவும் சேதமடைந்த நிலையில் இருப்பதாக வீரர்கள் குற்றம் சாட்டியுள்ளனர். பல இடங்களில் மரத்தடிகள் உடைந்தும் பிளந்தும் காணப்படுவதால் விளையாடும் போது விபத்து ஏற்படும் அபாயம் அதிகரித்துள்ளதாக அவர்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.

Athletes from the Nilgiris district have complained about the severely damaged condition of the tennis court near Gudalur. They pointed out that broken and uneven wooden flooring poses major safety risks for players during practice and matches.
With no repairs carried out despite long-standing issues and frequent rains, athletes have accused the government and district authorities of negligence in maintaining essential sports facilities. They also warned that tournaments cannot be held unless immediate repairs are undertaken.
