தமிழ்நாட்டில் பல இளம் மருத்துவர்கள் குறைந்த ஊதியம் மற்றும் வேலை வாய்ப்பு பற்றாக்குறையால் உணவு டெலிவரி, டாக்சி ஓட்டுதல் போன்ற வேலைகளில் ஈடுபடத் தொடங்கியுள்ளதாக தகவல்கள் வெளியாகியுள்ளன. தகுதி பெற்றும் வேலை கிடைக்காத நிலை அதிகரித்து வருவதாக மருத்துவ மாணவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்.
எம்பிபிஎஸ் பட்டதாரிகள் மாதம் ₹15,000 முதல் ₹30,000 ரூபாய் மட்டுமே சம்பாதிக்கும் சூழலில், மூத்த சூப்பர் ஸ்பெஷலிடிகளில் கூட 1.3 லட்சம் ரூபாய் வரை பரிசீலிக்க வேண்டிய சூழல் உள்ளது. இந்நிலையில் வாழ்வாதாரத்திற்காக இளம் மருத்துவர்கள் மாற்று தொழில்களைத் தேர்வு செய்ய வேண்டிய நிலை உருவாகியுள்ளது.

With MBBS graduates earning only ₹15,000–₹30,000 per month and even specialist positions offering limited pay, many are forced to consider alternate jobs. This growing shift highlights the employment crisis faced by newly graduated doctors and the urgent need for systemic reforms.
