மதுரை மாவட்டம் உசிலம்பட்டி அருகே மாதரை கிராமத்தில் ஏற்பட்ட குடும்ப தகராறில் தமிழ் என்ற இளைஞரை அவரது அண்ணன் வெட்டிக்கொலை செய்த சம்பவம் பரபரப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
காயங்களால் தரையில் வீழ்ந்த தமிழை மீட்டுக் கொள்ள முடியாமல் அவர் உயிரிழந்ததாக போலீசார் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.
