திருப்பத்தூர் மாவட்டத்தில் வட்டாட்சியர் அலுவலகத்துக்கு பைக் மூலம் சென்ற அதிகாரி மீது திடீரென தெருநாய் தாக்கி கால் பகுதியில் கடித்தது. உடனே அவர் அருகிலுள்ள மருத்துவமனைக்கு கொண்டு செல்லப்பட்டு தடுப்பூசி செலுத்தப்பட்டதாக அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவித்தனர்.
இந்த சம்பவம் அந்த பகுதி மக்களிடையே அச்சத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது. தெருநாய்கள் அதிகரித்துள்ளதால் பாதுகாப்பு நடவடிக்கைகளை வலுப்படுத்த வேண்டுமென பொதுமக்கள் வலியுறுத்துகிறார்கள்.
A Tahsildar traveling to his office in Tirupathur district was suddenly attacked by a stray dog while on a bike, resulting in a bite injury on his leg. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where he received medical treatment, including anti-rabies vaccination.
The incident has raised concern among residents of the area. Locals have urged authorities to implement stronger measures to control the rising stray dog population and ensure public safety.
