திருவண்ணாமலை மாவட்டத்தில் அரசு பாதை பகுதியில் சாலையை கடக்க முயன்ற மூதாட்டி மீது வேகமாக வந்த வாகனம் மோதியதில் அவர் சம்பவ இடத்திலேயே உயிரிழந்தார். சாலைப் போக்குவரத்து சில நேரம் பாதிக்கப்பட்டது.
உடலை போலீசார் கைப்பற்றி மருத்துவமனைக்கு அனுப்பினர். அருகிலிருந்த மக்கள் இந்த துயர சம்பவத்தால் கவலையில் ஆழ்ந்தனர். பாதுகாப்பான சாலையோர நடைபாதை தேவையென பொதுமக்கள் கருத்து தெரிவிக்கின்றனர்.
