Four brutal murders reported from Chengalpattu, Tindivanam, Tiruppur and Tiruchirappalli on the same day have created fear and tension across the regions. Initial police inquiry suggests that each incident may have stemmed from personal disputes, family conflicts or illegal activity-related clashes.
Local residents allege that weak enforcement and delayed policing have emboldened criminals. Police have launched separate investigations in all four cases and assured that arrests will be made soon.
