சென்னை பாமரப்பகுதியில் மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் அலுவலகம் மற்றும் நீதிமன்றம் அருகே இரு ரவுடி கும்பல்கள் திடீரென கத்திகளுடன் மோதிக்கொண்டதால் அப்பகுதியில் பெரும் பரபரப்பு ஏற்பட்டது. மக்கள் பதற்றத்துடன் சாலைகளில் ஓடி தஞ்சம் அடைந்தனர்.
போலீசார் விரைந்து சம்பவ இடத்துக்கு சென்று நிலைமையை கட்டுப்படுத்தினர். மோதலில் ஈடுபட்ட சிலர் தப்பியோட, சிலரை காவல் துறையினர் கைது செய்துள்ளதாக தகவல். பாதுகாப்பு காரணமாக அந்த பகுதியில் கடும் கண்காணிப்பு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
A sudden clash between two rowdy gangs armed with knives near the Chennai District Collectorate and court complex created tension among the public. Locals ran for safety as the fight broke out in a crowded area.
Police arrived quickly and brought the situation under control. Some members of the gang fled, while a few have been detained for inquiry. Heavy security has now been deployed in the area to prevent further unrest.
