ராமேஸ்வரம் பகுதியில் 12ஆம் வகுப்பு பள்ளி மாணவி கொலை செய்யப்பட்ட சம்பவம் உள்ளூர் மக்கள் மற்றும் அரசியல் வட்டாரங்களில் பெரும் அதிர்வை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது. பள்ளிக்குச் செல்லும் பெண் குழந்தைகளுக்கு துனிச்சலாக அணுகி கொலை செய்யும் அளவிற்கு குற்றவாளிகள் வெறியாட்டம் நடப்பது சட்டம்-ஒழுங்கு குறைபாடாகப் பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.
அதிமுக பொதுச் செயலாளர் எடப்பாடி கே.பழனிசாமி, “ஒரு மாணவியின் உயிரை பறிக்கும் அளவுக்கு குற்றவாளிக்கு இவ்வளவு துனிச்சல் எங்கே இருந்து வருகிறது?” என்று கேள்வி எழுப்பியுள்ளார். பெண்கள் பாதுகாப்பில் அரசு முற்றிலும் தோல்வியடைந்ததால் தான், இத்தகைய கொடூரச் சம்பவங்கள் நடப்பதாக அவர் குற்றம்சாட்டினார்.
He added that the DMK government has failed to enforce stricter law and order, allowing criminals to roam freely with no fear of consequences. Parents and the public have expressed deep concern over the safety of school-going girls, demanding immediate measures to prevent such tragedies.
The opposition condemned the ruling government, stating that the lack of proper policing and timely intervention has emboldened offenders. Public outrage continues to rise as citizens call for justice and stronger protection for young girls in Tamil Nadu.
