தென்காசி, நெல்லை, கன்னியாகுமரி, நாகை உள்ளிட்ட மாவட்டங்களில் இன்று கனமழை பெய்ய வாய்ப்பு | Heavy rain expected today in Tenkasi, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari, Nagapattinam and nearby districts
தமிழகத்தின் தென் மாவட்டங்களில் இன்று கனமழை உருவாகும் வாய்ப்பு இருப்பதாக சென்னை வானிலை ஆய்வு மையம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. குறிப்பாக தென்காசி, நெல்லை, கன்னியாகுமரி, நாகை, மயிலாடுதுறை ஆகிய பகுதிகளில் மாலை நேரம் வரை பலத்த மழை பெய்ய வாய்ப்பு அதிகமாக உள்ளது.
நாளை 21 ஆம் தேதி முதல் கன்னியாகுமரி, நெல்லை, தூத்துக்குடி, ராமநாதபுரம், நாகை, கடலூர், மயிலாடுதுறை ஆகிய மாவட்டங்களிலும் கனமழை நீடிக்கும் எனவும் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. வடகிழக்கு பருவமழை தீவிரம் காரணமாக இரண்டு நாட்களும் மழை சாத்தியம் தொடரும் என அறிவிப்பு விடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
Heavy rain is expected today in the southern districts of Tamil Nadu, especially Tenkasi, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari, Nagapattinam and Mayiladuthurai. According to the Chennai Meteorological Department, the intensity of the northeast monsoon is likely to bring strong showers till evening.
From tomorrow (Nov 21), heavy rains are also likely in Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Ramanathapuram, Nagapattinam, Cuddalore and Mayiladuthurai. The weather office has cautioned the public to stay alert and follow safety instructions as the rainfall activity may continue for the next two days.
