தமிழகத்தில் இருந்து வெளி மாநிலங்களுக்கு ஓம்னி பேருந்துகளை இயக்காமல் வேலைநிறுத்தம் தொடர்வதால் பயணிகள் கடும் அவதி அனுபவித்து வருகின்றனர். பயண கட்டண உயர்வு உள்ளிட்ட கோரிக்கைகளை தீர்க்காமல் இருப்பதே வேலைநிறுத்தம் நீடிக்கும் முக்கிய காரணமாக கூறப்படுகிறது.
வேலைநிறுத்தத்தால் ரூ.36 கோடி நட்டம் ஏற்படும் என பேருந்து உரிமையாளர்கள் சங்கம் தெரிவிக்கிறது. பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்தாத அரசை கடுமையாக விமர்சித்த அவர்கள், தீர்வு இன்றால் போராட்டம் மேலும் நீடிக்கும் என எச்சரித்துள்ளனர்.

The ongoing strike has reportedly caused losses of over ₹36 crore, with owners blaming the government’s slow response. Without a resolution, the operators warn the strike may continue further, impacting nearly 20,000 workers and lakhs of passengers.
