சென்னை அம்பத்தூர் தொழிற்பேட்டை பகுதியில் ஜேடி நிறுவனத்தில் பணியாற்றிய ஒருவரை சிலர் இரும்புக் கம்பியால் தாக்கி கொலை செய்த சம்பவம் பரபரப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது. தனிப்பட்ட விரோதம் காரணமாகவே இந்த தாக்குதல் நடந்ததாக போலீசார் ஆரம்ப விசாரணையில் உறுதி செய்துள்ளனர்.
