இந்திய வங்கிகளின் பாதுகாப்பு மேம்பாட்டுக்காக புதிய ‘.bank.in’ டொமைன் அறிமுகம் | New ‘.bank.in’ secure domain to be adopted by all Indian banks
இந்தியாவில் உள்ள அனைத்து வங்கிகளும் தங்கள் அதிகாரப்பூர்வ இணையதள முகவரிகளை ‘.bank.in’ எனும் புதிய பாதுகாப்பான டொமைனுக்கு மாற்ற வேண்டும் என்று ரிசர்வ் வங்கி அறிவித்துள்ளது. இந்த மாற்றம் இணையதள மோசடிகளை தடுக்கவும், வங்கி வாடிக்கையாளர்களின் தகவல் பாதுகாப்பை மேலும் வலுப்படுத்தவும் உதவும் என கூறப்படுகிறது.
ரிசர்வ் வங்கியின் உத்தரவுப்படி அக்டோபர் 31-க்குள் அனைத்து வங்கிகளும் புதிய டொமைனுக்கு மாற்றத்தை நிறைவேற்ற வேண்டும். இதன் மூலம் போலி இணையத்தளங்களால் ஏற்படும் மோசடிகள் பெருமளவில் குறையும் என நம்பப்படுகிறது.
The Reserve Bank of India has directed all banks in the country to shift their official websites to a new, highly secure domain extension: ‘.bank.in’. This move aims to strengthen cybersecurity and reduce fraudulent online activities targeting customers.
Banks have been instructed to complete the transition by October 31. Authorities believe that adopting the new domain will significantly curb phishing attacks and help customers easily identify genuine bank websites.
