அமைச்சர் மனோ தங்கராஜின் தங்கை பெயரில் 100 கோடி மதிப்பிலான அரசு நிலம் போலி ஆவணங்கள் மூலம் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டதாக கூறப்படும் விவகாரத்தில், தாசில்தார் மற்றும் வருவாய் ஆய்வாளர் மீது ஏன் நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படாதது என சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்றம் கேள்வி எழுப்பியுள்ளது.
உடனடியாக வழக்கு பதிவு செய்யவும், நிலம் மீட்பு நடவடிக்கைகள் குறித்து முழுமையான விளக்கமும் சமர்ப்பிக்கவும் உயர்நீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது. செங்கல்பட்டு மாவட்டத்தில் நில மீட்பு பணிகள் நிறுத்தப்பட்டதற்கான காரணம் என்ன என்பதையும் நீதிமன்றம் கண்டறிய உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது.
The Madras High Court has raised serious questions over allegations that government land worth ₹100 crore was registered under the minister’s sister’s name using forged documents. The court demanded an explanation as to why no action was taken against the concerned revenue officials.
The court has ordered immediate filing of an FIR and a detailed status report on the land recovery process. It has also sought clarity on why land retrieval work was halted in Chengalpattu district. Authorities are now under pressure to submit a full account of the events.
