திருச்சி அருகே விறுதுநகர் மாவட்டத்தில் அரசு TASMAC மதுபானக் கடை ஊழியர்களை கத்தியால் மிரட்டி ரூ.1,09,500 பணத்தை கொள்ளையர்கள் பறித்துச் சென்றதாக புகார் அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
நிலவும் சட்டம் ஒழுங்கு சிக்கல்கள் காரணமாக அரசு ஊழியர்களுக்கும் பாதுகாப்பு இல்லையா என்ற கேள்வி பகுதியைச் சேர்ந்த மக்களை பெரிதும் கவலைக்குள்ளாக்கியுள்ளது.
இந்த கொள்ளை சம்பவம் மாநிலத்தில் வேகமாக அதிகரித்து வரும் TASMAC கடை கொள்ளைச் சம்பவங்களில் மேலும் ஒரு தொடர்ச்சிப் தாக்கமாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது.
காவல்துறையினர் கொள்ளையர்களை கண்டறிந்து விரைவில் கைது செய்வதற்காக விசாரணை தீவிரப்படுத்தியுள்ளனர்.
