கடலூர் மாவட்டத்தில் நிலமழை சேதத்துக்கான நிவாரணம் இன்று வழங்கப்படும் | Rain-damage compensation to be issued today in Cuddalore
கடலூர் மாவட்டம் ஸ்ரீமுஷ்ணம் பகுதியில் ஏற்பட்ட கனமழை காரணமாக சுமார் 38 கிராமங்களில் பயிர் சேதம் ஏற்பட்டது. நிலைமையை ஆய்வு செய்த நிர்வாகம், ஒரு வாரமாக நின்ற நீர்மூழ்கிய வயல்களில் சுமார் 20,000 ஏக்கர் விவசாய நிலங்கள் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதை உறுதிப்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
விவசாயிகள் பலரும் இழப்பீடு தருமாறு கோரிய நிலையில், இன்று (25 நவம்பர் 2025) முதல் நிவாரணத் தொகை வழங்கப்படுவதாக மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் அறிவித்துள்ளார். முதற்கட்ட நிவாரணமாக பாதிக்கப்பட்ட விவசாயிகளுக்கு உடனடி உதவி வழங்கப்படும் என கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.
Heavy rain in the Srimushnam region of Cuddalore district has damaged crops across nearly 38 villages. After field inspection, authorities confirmed that around 20,000 acres of farmland were submerged for almost a week due to continuous rainfall.
Farmers had been urging the administration for immediate relief, and officials have now announced that compensation distribution will begin today (25 November 2025). The district administration also stated that the first round of financial assistance will be provided promptly to the affected farmers.
