கடந்த நவம்பர் மாத சம்பள பில்லில் 3 சதவீத அதிகரிப்பு இணைக்கப்படாமல் இருந்ததால், பல துறைகளில் பணிபுரியும் அரசு ஊழியர்கள் கவலை தெரிவித்து வருகின்றனர். இதனால், ஊழியர்களின் தற்போதைய நிதிசுமை மேலும் அதிகரித்துள்ளதாக புகார்கள் எழுந்துள்ளன.
சம்பள உயர்வு 4 மாத நிலுவைத் தொகையுடன் சேர்க்கப்படாததால் குடும்பச் செலவுகள் தடைபடுவதாகவும், குறிப்பாக பெண்கள் ஊழியர்களின் நிம்மதிக்கே பாதிப்பு ஏற்பட்டுள்ளதாகவும் கூறப்படுகிறது. இந்த நிலையை உடனடியாக சரிசெய்ய வேண்டும் என அனைத்து சங்கங்களும் கோரிக்கை விடுத்துள்ளன.
