கோயமட்டூரில் பீளமேடு பகுதியில் உள்ள கோயில் அருகே 3 மாதம் வயதான குழந்தை மர்மமாக சடலமாகக் கிடந்தது உள்ளூர் மக்களை அதிர்ச்சியில் ஆழ்த்தியுள்ளது. குழந்தையின் உடலில் வெட்டுக்காயங்கள் இருப்பதாகக் கூறப்பட்டதால், இது நரபலி சம்பவமா என்ற சந்தேகம் எழுந்துள்ளது.
