இன்று நாகை, திருவாரூர், தஞ்சாவூர், புதுக்கோட்டை, ராமநாதபுரம் மாவட்டங்களில் மிக கனமழை ஏற்படும் வாய்ப்பு இருப்பதாக வானிலை மையம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. மேகமூட்டத்துடன் பல்வேறு இடங்களில் இடியுடன் கூடிய மழை பதிவாகலாம் எனவும் எச்சரிக்கை விடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
அதேபோன்று, அரியலூர், நாகை, தூத்துக்குடி உள்ளிட்ட பல மாவட்டங்களிலும் கனமழை அதிகரிக்கும் என முன்னறிவிப்பு வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. குறிப்பாக கடலோர பகுதிகளில் அதிக காற்று வேகமும் மழை தீவிரமும் காணப்படும் எனவும் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.
A red alert has been announced as very heavy rainfall is likely today in Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Thanjavur, Pudukkottai and Ramanathapuram districts. The weather agency warns of thunderstorms, strong winds and intense showers across coastal areas.
Several other districts, including Ariyalur and Thoothukudi, may also experience heavy to very heavy rainfall, with the intensity expected to increase through the day, according to the latest weather bulletin.
