டிட்வா புயல் வலு அதிகரித்துள்ளதால், சென்னையை உட்பட பல்வேறு நகரங்களில் விமான சேவைகள் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இந்திய விமான நிலைய நிருவனம் பல விமானங்களை ரத்து செய்து, அவசர முன்னெச்சரிக்கை நடவடிக்கைகளை மேற்கொண்டுள்ளது.
சென்னை விமான நிலையத்தில் காலை நேரம்부터 செயல்பாடுகள் தாமதமாக இருந்ததால், பயணிகள் விமான தகவலை முன்பே சரிபார்த்து பயணிக்குமாறு அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. கடலோர காற்று வேகம் அதிகரித்து வருவதால், விமான சேவைகளில் மேலும் தடைகள் ஏற்படும் வாய்ப்பு உள்ளது.
