வாட்ஸ்அப், டெலிகிராம் உள்ளிட்ட செயலிகளில் நடைபெறும் மோசடிகளை கட்டுப்படுத்த மத்திய அரசு பெரிய நடவடிக்கையை அறிவித்துள்ளது. சேபோனில் மட்டும் இயங்கிய முறையை மாற்றி, புதிய ஒழுங்குகள் கொண்டு வரப்படுகின்றன.
இந்த திட்டத்தின் மூலம் வங்கிக் கணக்குகள், கேவோஒ பணப்பரிவர்த்தனைகள் மற்றும் ஆன்லைன் மோசடிகளில் ஈடுபடும் குழுக்களை 90 நாட்களில் முடக்க நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும் என்று தகவல்.
மார்க்கெட் மற்றும் டிஜிட்டல் உலகில் அதிகரித்து வரும் சைபர் குற்றங்களால் பொதுமக்கள் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட நிலையில், அரசு புதிய கண்காணிப்பு செயல்முறையை உருவாக்கியுள்ளது. இதன் மூலம் போலி கணக்குகள், மோசடி லிங்குகள் மற்றும் டிஜிட்டல் திருட்டு வழக்குகள் விரைவாக விசாரிக்கப்படும்.

The Indian government has announced a major crackdown to curb rising cyber frauds happening through WhatsApp, Telegram and other digital platforms. A new central regulation aims to replace the existing limited monitoring system.
Under this plan, cybercrime networks involving bank accounts, UPI frauds and phishing scams will be traced and dismantled within 90 days.
With cybercrimes affecting millions of users nationwide, the government aims to deploy enhanced surveillance and real-time fraud detection measures. This initiative is expected to significantly reduce digital scams and strengthen public safety online.
