தமிழகத்தில் வடகிழக்கு பருவமழை சாதாரண அளவை விட இந்த ஆண்டு 8% அதிகரித்துள்ளதாக வானிலைத் துறை தெரிவித்துள்ளது. இன்று வரையிலான கணக்கில் மாநிலம் முழுவதும் 381.7 மில்லி மழை பதிவாகியுள்ளது.
