டிசம்பர் தொடக்கத்தில் வங்கக்கடல் பகுதியில் குறைந்த காற்றழுத்த தாழ்வு உருவாகும் சாத்தியம் உள்ளதாக வானிலை ஆய்வு மையம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. இந்த தாழ்வு நிலை தமிழக கடற்கரை பகுதிகளின் வானிலையில் மாற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்தக்கூடும் என கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.
வங்கக்கடலில் நிலவும் காற்றழுத்த மாற்றங்கள் காரணமாக அடுத்த சில நாட்களில் காற்றின் வேகம் அதிகரிக்கலாம். இதன் தாக்கமாக கடலோர மாவட்டங்களில் மேகமூட்டம், லேசான முதல் மிதமான மழை பெய்ய வாய்ப்பு உள்ளது என வானிலை நிபுணர்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.
மீனவர்கள் கடலுக்குச் செல்லும் முன் வானிலை அறிவிப்புகளை கவனிக்க வேண்டும் என்றும், கடல் சீற்றம் அதிகரிக்கக்கூடும் என்பதால் முன்னெச்சரிக்கையுடன் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்றும் அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.
