ஒரு சவரன் (8 கிராம்) தங்கத்தின் விலை ரூ.240 குறைந்து ரூ.96,320 ஆக நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. உலக சந்தை மாற்றங்கள், அமெரிக்க டாலர் வலிமை மற்றும் சர்வதேச தங்க விலை சரிவு ஆகியவை இந்த விலை குறைவுக்கு முக்கிய காரணங்களாக கூறப்படுகிறது.
