அதிமுக வழக்கில் உயர்நீதிமன்றம் திமுக அரசுக்கு கண்டனம் | Madras High Court rebukes DMK government over Pallikaranai wetland case filed by AIADMK
சென்னையின் முக்கிய சுற்றுச்சூழல் வளமான பள்ளிக்கரணை ஈரநிலத்தில் சட்ட விரோதமாக கட்டுமானம் நடைபெறுவதாக அதிமுக சார்பில் வழக்கு தொடரப்பட்டது. இதுகுறித்து விசாரித்த உயர்நீதிமன்றம், திமுக அரசின் விளக்கத்தை கடுமையாக விமர்சித்து, “சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதுகாப்பில் அரசு அலட்சியம் காட்ட முடியாது” எனக் குறிப்பிட்டது.
அரசு சார்பில் இதற்கான சட்ட அனுமதி மற்றும் சுற்றுச்சூழல் மதிப்பீட்டின் விவரங்களை சமர்ப்பிக்குமாறு நீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளது. அதிமுகவினர் இதை சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதுகாப்புக்கான வெற்றி எனக் கருதுகின்றனர்.
The Madras High Court has strongly criticized the DMK government following a case filed by AIADMK regarding illegal construction activities in the Pallikaranai wetland area of Chennai. The court emphasized that the state cannot ignore its duty toward environmental conservation.
The court has directed the government to submit detailed reports on legal approvals and environmental assessments related to the project. AIADMK leaders hailed the court’s response as a moral victory in their fight to protect Tamil Nadu’s ecological heritage.
