திருச்சி அரியமங்கலம் பகுதியில், இளைஞர்களுக்கு போதை மாத்திரைகள் மற்றும் ஊசிகள் விற்று வந்த 5 பேர் போலீசாரால் கைது செய்யப்பட்டனர். இவர்கள் மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் தொழிலாளர்களுக்கு போதை மருந்துகளை ரகசியமாக விற்று வந்ததாக விசாரணையில் தெரியவந்தது.
