அதிமுக பொதுச் செயலாளர் எடப்பாடி கே. பழனிசாமி, சட்டப்பேரவையிலும் கட்சி கூட்டங்களிலும் திமுகவை எதிர்த்து ஒருமுறை கூட பேசாததாக செங்கோட்டையனை குற்றம்சாட்டினார். “கட்சியின் கொள்கையைப் பேணி எதிர்க்கட்சியாக திமுகவின் தவறுகளை வெளிப்படுத்த வேண்டிய நேரத்தில் அவர் அமைதியாக இருந்தார்,” என EPS கூறினார்.
மேலும், கட்சியின் ஒற்றுமையை பாதிக்கும் எந்த நடவடிக்கையையும் பொறுத்துக்கொள்ள முடியாது என்றும், கட்சியில் ஒழுங்கு மிக முக்கியம் என்றும் அவர் வலியுறுத்தினார். திமுகவுடன் நேரடியாக மோதுவதற்குப் பதிலாக சிலர் தனிப்பட்ட விரோதம் காரணமாக கட்சிக்கே கேடு விளைவிக்கின்றனர் என்றார்.
AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami questioned why senior leader Sengottaiyan had not spoken out against the DMK either in the Assembly or within party forums. EPS stated that as a responsible opposition, AIADMK leaders must call out the government’s failures — not remain silent.
He emphasized that maintaining party discipline and unity is vital. “Instead of confronting the DMK politically, some are causing internal damage out of personal motives. Such behavior cannot be tolerated,” EPS added during the press briefing.
