தமிழகத்தில் மின்மாற்றி கொள்முதல் தொடர்பாக ₹397 கோடி ரூபாய் அளவிலான முறைகேடு நடந்தது என்ற குற்றச்சாட்டில் DVAC (அழுத்த விசாரணை மற்றும் ஊழல் தடுப்பு துறை) அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக விசாரணை தொடங்கியுள்ளது.
அதிகாரிகள் கூறியதாவது, “முன்னாள் மின்துறை அமைச்சர் வி. செந்தில் பாலாஜி மற்றும் சில உயர் அதிகாரிகள் மீது தவறான ஒப்பந்தங்கள் மற்றும் பணப் பரிவர்த்தனைகள் குறித்து ஆரம்பக்கட்ட விசாரணை நடைபெற்று வருகிறது” என தெரிவித்தனர்.
நீதிமன்றத்தின் உத்தரவின்படி, முக்கிய சாட்சிகளின் வாக்குமூல்கள் பதிவு செய்யப்படும் என்றும், விசாரணையின் அடிப்படையில் புதிய வழக்குகள் பதிவு செய்யப்படலாம் என கூறப்படுகிறது.
The DVAC has officially launched an inquiry into a ₹397 crore transformer procurement scam allegedly involving former Tamil Nadu Minister V. Senthil Balaji and senior officials of the electricity department.
Investigators have begun collecting documents and financial records related to the deals. Sources say key witnesses will be questioned next week, and findings will be submitted before the court as part of the preliminary investigation report.
