இந்திய கடற்படையின் திறனுக்கு புதிய பலம் | A new boost to India’s naval strength.
கேரள மாநிலம் கொச்சியில், INS இக்ஷாக் எனப்படும் புதிய கண்காணிப்பு கப்பல், இந்திய கடற்படையில் அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக இணைக்கப்பட்டது. இந்த கப்பல், நாட்டில் 80% உள்நாட்டு தொழில்நுட்பத்துடன் உருவாக்கப்பட்டதாக கடற்படை தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
INS இக்ஷாக், கடற்படை புவியியல் வரைபட சேவைகளுக்காக வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு சிறப்பு கப்பல் ஆகும். இது இந்திய பெருங்கடலில் பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் கடல்சார் சேவைகளில் முக்கிய பங்கு வகிக்கும் என அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.
INS Ikshak, built with over 80% indigenous technology, has been formally commissioned into the Indian Navy at Kochi. Designed primarily for hydrographic survey operations, the ship will enhance India’s maritime domain awareness and mapping capabilities in the Indian Ocean region.
Navy officials stated that INS Ikshak represents a significant milestone under the ‘Make in India’ initiative, marking India’s growing self-reliance in defense shipbuilding and naval infrastructure.
