அரியலூர் மாவட்டம் வாரணவாசி அருகே சென்ற எரிவாயு சிலிண்டர் லாரி திடீரென தீப்பிடித்தது. இதனால் சுற்றுப்புற மக்கள் பீதியடைந்து தூரம் ஓடிச் சென்றனர். தீயணைப்பு படையினர் விரைந்து வந்து தீயை கட்டுப்படுத்தினர்.
சம்பவத்தில் லாரி முழுமையாக சேதமடைந்தது. அதிர்ஷ்டவசமாக பெரிய உயிர் சேதம் ஏற்படவில்லை என்றாலும், லாரி ஓட்டுனரும் உதவியாளரும் சிறிய காயங்களுடன் அருகிலுள்ள மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.
A massive fire broke out in an LPG cylinder-laden lorry near Varanavasi in Ariyalur district, sparking panic among locals. Firefighters rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control after several hours of effort.
The lorry was completely destroyed in the incident, but no major casualties were reported. The driver and cleaner sustained minor injuries and are currently under treatment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
