விழுப்புரம் மாவட்டம் செஞ்சி அருகே உள்ள ஒரு அரசு மேல்நிலைப்பள்ளியில், மின்சாரம் தாக்கியதில் 11ஆம் வகுப்பு மாணவன் பிரதேப் லோகநாதன் (16) உயிரிழந்தார். மழையால் நனைந்த நிலையில் மின் கம்பியை தவறுதலாக தொடியதால் இந்த விபத்து ஏற்பட்டதாக தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இச்சம்பவம் குறித்து போலீசார் விசாரணை மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றனர். பள்ளி வளாகத்தில் பாதுகாப்பு ஏற்பாடுகள் சரியாக இல்லாதது குறித்து பெற்றோர்கள் கடும் அதிருப்தி தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.
A 16-year-old student, Pradeep Loganathan, from a government higher secondary school near Gingee in Villupuram district, tragically died after being electrocuted. The incident occurred when he accidentally touched a live wire during heavy rain.
