தமிழகத்தில் அதிகரித்து வரும் காற்று மாசின் தாக்கத்தால் சுவாச மற்றும் இதய நோய்கள் பெருமளவில் அதிகரித்து வருவதாக மருத்துவ நிபுணர்கள் எச்சரிக்கை விடுத்துள்ளனர். இதனை கட்டுப்படுத்த அனைத்து அரசு மருத்துவமனைகளிலும் சிறப்பு நெஞ்சு-சுவாச சிகிச்சைப் பிரிவை அமைக்க வேண்டும் என மத்திய அரசு அறிவுறுத்தியுள்ளது.
சிறப்பு வசதிகள், யபிர்சி பெற்ற டாக்டர்கள், ஆக்ஸிஜன் சிலிண்டர் வசதி உள்ளிட்ட உட்கட்டமைப்புகள் முழுமையாக இருக்க வேண்டும் எனவும் அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. மாசின் தாக்கம் அதிகம் உள்ள மாவட்டங்களுக்கு முன்னுரிமையாக இந்த பிரிவு கட்டாயமாக அமைக்கப்படும் என கூறப்படுகிறது.
Medical experts in Tamil Nadu have warned that rising air pollution is causing a surge in respiratory and cardiac illnesses. To address this growing concern, the central government has instructed all government hospitals to establish dedicated respiratory and cardiac care units.
These units must include advanced medical equipment, trained specialists, and full oxygen support infrastructure. Districts with high pollution levels will be prioritized, ensuring faster and improved treatment for affected patients.
