சென்னையில் இன்று 22 கேரட் தங்கத்தின் விலை ஒரு சவரனுக்கு ரூ.800 உயர்ந்து ரூ.92,000 ஆகியுள்ளது. கடந்த சில நாட்களாக நிலைத்திருந்த விலையில் திடீர் உயர்வு பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டதால் நகை வியாபாரிகள் ஆச்சர்யம் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.
சர்வதேச சந்தையில் தங்கத்தின் விலை உயர்வும், ரூபாயின் மதிப்பிழப்பும் இந்த உயர்வுக்கு முக்கிய காரணமாக கூறப்படுகிறது. இதனால் பொதுமக்கள் தங்கம் வாங்கும் திட்டங்களை மாற்றி அமைத்து வருகின்றனர்.
In Chennai, the price of 22K gold has increased by ₹800 per sovereign, touching ₹92,000 today. The sudden rise has surprised jewellery traders after days of stability in the market.
The global increase in gold prices and the weakening of the Indian rupee are cited as major reasons for the hike. Due to this, many buyers are postponing or revising their gold purchase plans.
