மதுரை மாவட்டம் அலங்காநல்லூரில் மானசீக குறைபாடு கொண்ட பெண் கர்ப்பமாக இருப்பது தெரியவந்தது. அருகே ஆடு மேய்க்கச் சென்ற அந்த பெண்ணை ஒரு முதியவர் தவறாக பயன்படுத்தியதாக காவல்துறை விசாரணையில் வெளிச்சம் பெற்றுள்ளது.
இந்தச் சம்பவத்தில் தொடர்புடைய 65 வயது முதியவரை போலீசார் பிடித்துப் விசாரணை நடத்தி வருகின்றனர். பெண்ணின் உடல் நிலை மற்றும் பாதுகாப்பு குறித்து மருத்துவ அதிகாரிகள் கண்காணிப்பு மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றனர்.
