மதுரை மாவட்டத்தில் திருமங்கலம் அருகே பள்ளி பேருந்து திடீர் தீப்பற்றிய சம்பவம் பெரும் அதிர்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்தியது. மாணவர்கள் இறங்கி சில நிமிடங்களில் தீப் பரவியதால் பெரிய விபத்து தவிர்க்கப்பட்டது.
சம்பவத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து அமைச்சர் ஆர்.பி.உதயகுமார் நேரில் சென்று பேருந்து ஓட்டுநர் மற்றும் பள்ளி நிர்வாகத்தினரிடம் பேசிக் ஆறுதல் தெரிவித்தார்.
தீ ஏற்படுத்திய காரணம் குறித்து விசாரணை நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. பாதுகாப்பு நடவடிக்கைகள் மேலும் வலுப்படுத்தப்படும் என அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவித்தனர்.
A school bus suddenly caught fire near Thirumangalam in Madurai district, causing shock among the public. A major tragedy was avoided because students had exited the bus just minutes earlier.
Following the incident, Minister R. B. Udhayakumar visited the spot, interacted with the bus driver and school authorities, and expressed support.
Investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire, and officials stated that safety protocols will be further strengthened to prevent similar incidents.
