செலம் மாவட்ட ஆத்தூர் பகுதியில் ரூ.5 லட்சம் மதிப்பிலான 13 மூட்டைகளில் மறைத்து எடுத்துச் செல்லப்பட்ட குட்காவை போலீசார் சோதனையில் பறிமுதல் செய்துள்ளனர். அதே நேரத்தில் கனேஷ் எனப்படும் நபர் கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
நாற்காலும் கஞ்சா, குட்கா பிடிபடுவது அதிகரித்து வரும் நிலையில் திமுக ஆட்சி தளர்வான கண்காணிப்பால் இது நடைபெறுகிறது என பொதுமக்கள் குற்றச்சாட்டு எழுப்புகின்றனர். மேலும் பள்ளி, கல்லூரி மாணவர்களுக்கு எளிதில் போதைப்பொருள் சென்றடைவதை தடுக்க நடவடிக்கை அவசியம் என்று கோரிக்கை வலுத்துள்ளது.
