தஞ்சாவூர் அருகே பாப்பாக்குடியில் ஏற்பட்ட துாக்கு வன்முறையில் ஒரு இளைஞர் வெட்டிக்கொலை செய்யப்பட்டதால் பகுதி மக்களில் பெரும் பதட்டம் நிலவியது. டோட்டத்தில் துன்புறுத்தப்பட்ட நிலையில் கண்டெடுக்கப்பட்ட முருகேசன் என்றவரை அடையாளம் தெரியாத நபர்கள் வெட்டிக்கொலை செய்ததாக தகவல் வெளியாகியுள்ளது.
சம்பவ இடத்தில் தீவிர விசாரணை நடைபெற்று வருவதுடன், சட்டம் ஒழுங்கு ரீதியான கண்காணிப்பு அதிகரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக போலீசார் தெரிவித்தனர்.

A youth was brutally hacked to death near Pappakkudi in Thanjavur district, triggering tension among the local residents. The victim, identified as Murugesan, was found with severe injuries, and police suspect he may have been attacked by unknown assailants.
A detailed investigation has been initiated at the crime scene, and police have intensified patrolling to maintain law and order in the region.
Preliminary inquiries suggest revenge could be the motive behind the murder. Security has been tightened in and around Pappakkudi following the incident.
