திருப்பூர் சிறுபழுவப்பட்டி பகுதியில் உள்ள டாஸ்மாக் கடையில் காலி மதுபாட்டில்களை எடுத்துச் செல்லும் டெண்டர் தொடர்பாக திமுகவினர் மற்றும் பார் உரிமையாளர்களுக்கு இடையே கடும் வாக்குவாதம் ஏற்பட்டதாக தகவல்கள் வெளியாகியுள்ளன. டெண்டர் நடைமுறையில் முறைகேடு நடந்ததாக கூறிய சிலர் கடைக்கு முன்பு கூடி தங்களின் எதிர்ப்பை வெளிப்படுத்தினர்.
இது தொடர்பாக நிலைமை சிக்கலாகி, போலீசார் சம்பவ இடத்துக்கு வந்து இருபுறத்தினரையும் சமரசப்படுத்தினர். டெண்டர் நடைமுறை வெளிப்படையாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என பொதுமக்களும் கோரிக்கை விடுத்துள்ளனர்.
A dispute reportedly broke out in Tiruppur’s Sirupuluvapatti TASMAC outlet over the tender process for collecting empty liquor bottles. Members of a political group and bar owners allegedly clashed, accusing irregularities in the tender allocation.
Police intervened to control the situation and disperse both groups after the argument intensified. Locals have urged authorities to ensure transparency in tender procedures to prevent such repeated tensions.
