டிசம்பர் 2, 2025 அன்று சென்னை விமான நிலையத்தில் இருந்து புறப்படவிருந்த மற்றும் வரவிருந்த மொத்தம் 7 விமானங்கள் திடீரென ரத்து செய்யப்பட்டன. இதில் உள்நாட்டு விமானங்களே அதிகமாக உள்ளதாக விமான நிலைய அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவித்தனர்.

On December 2, 2025, a total of seven flights scheduled to depart from and arrive at Chennai airport were cancelled unexpectedly. Most of the affected services were domestic flights, according to airport officials.
Passengers faced inconvenience as information about the cancellations was received late, leading to long waiting hours at the airport. Some travellers were accommodated on alternative flights, while others were offered ticket refunds by the airlines.
Preliminary reports indicate that technical issues and operational constraints were the main reasons for the cancellations. Passengers have been advised to check their booking status and follow updates from the respective airlines before travelling.
