2025 டிசம்பர் 2 நிலவரப்படி, இந்தியாவின் வெளிநாட்டு நாணய கையிருப்பு 18 சதவீதம் உயர்ந்து 35.18 பில்லியன் டாலராக உயர்ந்துள்ளதாக அதிகாரப்பூர்வ தரவுகள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன. இந்த உயர்வு இந்திய பொருளாதாரத்திற்கு சாதகமான அறிகுறியாக பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.
இந்த வளர்ச்சியில் அமெரிக்க டாலர் மதிப்பில் உள்ள கையிருப்பு 6.62 பில்லியன் டாலராக அதிகரித்துள்ளது. அதே நேரத்தில் தங்க கையிருப்பு 11.94 பில்லியன் டாலராக உயர்ந்து முக்கிய பங்களிப்பை வழங்கியுள்ளது.

As of December 2, 2025, India’s foreign exchange reserves have increased by 18 percent, reaching a total of USD 35.18 billion, according to official data. This rise is seen as a positive signal for the country’s economic stability.
The growth was driven largely by an increase of USD 6.62 billion in foreign currency assets, along with a significant rise in gold reserves, which climbed to USD 11.94 billion. These components played a key role in strengthening overall reserves.
According to the Reserve Bank of India, steady foreign investments, export earnings, and effective currency management contributed to this increase. Economists say the rise in forex reserves will help support the Indian rupee and improve confidence in the economy.
